Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy
All cancellations and refunds are subject to the fare rules of the ticket you purchased. Different fare types (e.g., promotional, standard, flexible) carry different cancellation penalties and refund eligibility. The Airline reserves the right to change refund rules at any time in accordance with its current regulations.
2. Cancellation by Passenger
- Within 24 hours of booking: If your booking was made at least 7 days before departure, you may cancel within 24 hours for a full refund, subject to airline policy.
- After 24 hours: Standard fare rules apply. Cancellation fees will be deducted from the refund amount in accordance with the Airline's fare regulations.
- No-show: Passengers who do not check in for their flight forfeit the full ticket value unless covered by travel insurance or specific fare rules.
3. Changes & Rebooking
Date changes, route changes, and passenger name corrections are subject to availability and airline fees. Changes must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. If the passenger wishes to return their ticket after issuance, they may do so through the website or mobile applications in accordance with the Airline's instructions.
4. Airline Cancellations
If Turkmenistan Airlines cancels your flight or changes the departure time, you are entitled to a full refund or rebooking on the next available flight at no additional cost, based on the relevant Airline documents and your consent. Compensation for delays and cancellations is governed by applicable aviation regulations.
5. Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14–30 business days. The exact timing depends on your card issuer or bank. If the ticket was paid through another party or third parties, the Airline bears no liability for any disputes arising between them. Refunds for online tickets are transferred directly to the card used for payment.
6. Duplicate Tickets
Multiple air tickets for the same route and date cannot be issued in the name of a single passenger. If a duplicate online ticket is discovered, the Airline reserves the right to cancel all duplicate tickets, including those already issued, without prior notice. Refunds will be made in accordance with the Airline's rules, minus any penalties established by the Airline.
7. How to Request a Refund
For eligible ticketed bookings, you can cancel and request a refund online through the Manage Booking page using your PNR and surname. Alternatively, contact our support team at support@turkmenistanairlines.ae or +971 50 280 0508 with your PNR and surname. We will review your fare rules and respond within 2 business days.
