Regulation and Agreement between the Passenger and the Website of the Airline

This Agreement is an agreement on the provision of services for the online purchase of air tickets and additional services at current prices, through the official website and mobile applications of Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company (the “Airline”). The Airline acts on behalf of any person entitled to online sale of air tickets for flights and the performance of additional services related to the Airline, and concludes an agreement with this passenger. By confirming consent to this agreement — for example, by clicking the “I Agree” button during ticket issuance — the passenger accepts all terms below.

1. Terms and Definitions

  • Passenger — an individual (over 18 years of age) with full legal capacity who purchases and issues air tickets listed on the Airline’s website for personal use or for family members, and who is not engaged in illegal business activities or activities that cause damage to the Airline.
  • Air ticket — the route and fare selected on the Airline’s website or mobile applications, issued electronically in accordance with applicable rules.
  • Regulations, Orders, Instructions, Internal Documents — documents approved by the Airline or other relevant bodies and in force directly between the passenger and the Airline.
  • Online air ticket sales website and mobile applications — the official website of the Airline and its mobile applications, designed to provide passengers with the opportunity to issue and return electronic air tickets and use Airline services online.
  • Payments — payment for the issued air ticket. After paying, the passenger must complete the necessary registration procedures, after which the air ticket details will be reflected in the personal account or confirmation email.

2. General Provisions

The online air ticket sales website and mobile applications are designed to search for information about the selected flight route, the Airline's flights, and the Airline’s rules, as well as to purchase air tickets online. They operate in accordance with current laws and regulations of Turkmenistan and the approved rules, instructions, orders, and other regulatory documents of the Airline.

By agreeing to these terms, the passenger accepts the terms of this agreement and expresses consent to all conditions for online ticketing. Acceptance is equivalent to entering into an agreement on the terms set forth in the rules of the online ticketing website.

Passenger regulations, flight schedules, and other information provided by the Airline are posted on the Airline's website for passengers to read, review, and agree to before purchase.

3. Using the Website

Payment for electronic air tickets is made in the national currency of Turkmenistan — manats — or in foreign currency in accordance with the Airline’s current rules, fare regulations, and other Airline documents. Payment is made using electronic bank cards and bank payment systems accepted on the online air ticket sales website and mobile applications.

The authenticity of an air ticket purchased online can be verified on the Airline’s website, at ticket sales points, by telephone, in the passenger's personal account, or using the QR code on the downloaded air ticket.

The Airline is not responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information provided by passengers electronically when purchasing an air ticket. The passenger must fill in all necessary information themselves.

4. Rules for Purchasing an Electronic Air Ticket

The fare for the passenger’s chosen route is determined by the Airline’s fare agreement, conditions, regulations, rules, and fees. An electronic air ticket is issued electronically in an automated system and is available for review and viewing on the Airline's website.

Before purchasing an electronic ticket, passengers must familiarize themselves with the terms, fare, conditions, and general rules of the ticket on the Airline’s website. By purchasing an air ticket in any form, the passenger confirms that he/she has read the terms of this Agreement, the Rules for issuing and paying for air tickets online, the Tariff Rules, the Privacy Policy, the Instructions for canceling and returning air tickets, the Instructions for exchanging air tickets online, and the Rules for the carriage of passengers, baggage, and cargo, and accepts all terms and conditions.

The air ticket issued electronically is entered into the system within a certain time limit set by the Airline. To ensure that the Airline does not reserve seats indefinitely, the passenger must pay for the air ticket within the time limit specified during booking.

Multiple air tickets for the same route and date cannot be issued in the name of a single passenger. If a duplicate online ticket is discovered, the Airline reserves the right to cancel all duplicate tickets, including those already issued, without prior notice. Refunds will be made in accordance with the Airline's rules, minus any penalties.

5. Online Payment

The online air ticket price is displayed on the website, in mobile applications, and on the electronic ticket presented to the passenger, along with all additional details. The air ticket price is not final and is not guaranteed until the Airline issues the ticket, confirming the availability of the offer.

The passenger pays for the air ticket by credit card or other payment system indicated on the website. Payment for an air ticket by bank card must be made directly by the passenger — the cardholder. If the passenger's bank card is transferred to another person for payment, the passenger assumes all associated risks.

Data transfer to the electronic payment system is carried out in compliance with all security measures. The airline forwards passenger data to an authorized server via a secure communication channel. The data is transmitted in encrypted form and stored only on the dedicated server of the payment provider.

6. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

If a passenger wishes to return their ticket, they can do so through the website or mobile applications. After the passenger has completed the online ticket registration process and received confirmation, they can independently return the ticket through their personal account by following the appropriate steps. Refunds for online tickets are transferred directly to the card used for payment.

In the event of a change in departure time or cancellation of an air ticket purchased through the website, the Airline will refund the ticket or reschedule it to another date and route based on the relevant Airline documents and the passenger's consent.

7. Travel Documents

The passenger is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the requirements for obtaining the necessary visas in the countries of transit airports. Deportation of a passenger with invalid entry or exit documents is carried out solely at the passenger's expense. The passenger must independently obtain the necessary information from the consulate of the relevant country.

The passenger is obligated to familiarize themselves with and comply with all requirements of the departure country, including those related to obtaining visas or other documents for the export of children and animals, permits for the export of weapons, art objects, and other permits and agreements upon exit. The airline is not responsible for the passenger's ignorance of or failure to comply with these requirements.

8. Confidentiality

When booking an electronic ticket through the website, passengers provide personal information, contact phone numbers, and email address. Additional payment information is entered on the payment provider's own pages. By providing their personal data, the passenger consents to its processing for the purpose of fulfilling the Airline's obligations and evaluating the performance of the website.

Disclosure of information received by the Airline is prohibited, except in cases provided for by applicable regulations.

9. Force Majeure

The parties shall be released from liability for partial or complete failure to fulfill their obligations under this Agreement if such failure resulted from force majeure circumstances arising after the conclusion of the Agreement due to extraordinary events that the parties could not foresee or prevent. Force majeure circumstances include floods, fires, earthquakes, epidemics and other natural disasters, war or military action, and relevant government restrictions.

10. UAE Seller Provisions

This website is operated by MIDA Tourism L.L.C (trading as MIDA Travels), a licensed travel agency based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Dubai DET Trade Licence No. 541638), acting as an authorised reseller of Turkmenistan Airlines tickets. Prices may be displayed and settled in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) for convenience. The contract of carriage is between the passenger and Turkmenistan Airlines; MIDA Tourism L.L.C acts only as the booking and payment agent.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
